1. Introduction and Acceptance Welcome to vietnamtaxis.online (the “Site”). By accessing, browsing, or using this Site to book airport transfer services – including transfers from the airport to your destination (“Arrivals”) and from your starting point to the airport (“Departures”) – you (“Client” or “User”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Nature of Services (The “Broker” Clause) IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully. vietnamtaxis.online acts solely as a booking agent (intermediary) between you and third-party transportation providers (“Suppliers”) in Vietnam.
We do not own, operate, or manage the vehicles.
We do not employ the drivers.
Our service is limited to facilitating the reservation and processing the payment. The actual transportation service is performed entirely by the independent Supplier.
3. Booking and Accuracy of Information
User Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to provide accurate information during the booking process, including flight numbers, landing dates/times, and contact details (WhatsApp/Email).
Departures (Transfers TO the Airport): For transfers from a city/hotel to the airport, it is your sole responsibility to schedule a pickup time that allows sufficient travel time to the airport, taking into account potential traffic, weather conditions, and airport check-in requirements. We strongly recommend booking your pickup at least 3-4 hours before your flight departure time.
Estimated Travel Times for Planning: To assist you in scheduling your pickup, please consider the following estimated travel times. Please note that these are averages and can increase significantly during rush hours or rain:
Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai) ↔ Hanoi City Center (Old Quarter): Approx. 45-60 minutes (can take up to 1 hour 15 minutes during rush hour).
Ho Chi Minh City Airport (Tan Son Nhat) ↔ City Center (District 1): Approx. 30 minutes (highly dependent on traffic).
Da Nang Airport ↔ Da Nang City Center: Approx. 20-25 minutes.
Da Nang ↔ Hoi An: Approx. 60 minutes.
Errors & Missed Flights: We are not responsible for failed pickups resulting from incorrect information provided by you (e.g., wrong date, wrong airport code, or missing flight number). Furthermore, we are not liable for missed flights or connection costs if you scheduled a pickup time that did not allow enough buffer time for travel (based on the estimates above). In such cases, no refund will be issued.
4. Payments and Pricing
Pre-Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking via our secure payment processors (Stripe or PayPal).
Inclusions: Prices include the vehicle hire, driver service, fuel, and applicable airport tolls.
Exclusions: Prices do not include extra stops not specified in the booking, overtime waiting charges (beyond the grace period), baby seats (unless requested and paid for), or tips.
5. Waiting Time and “No-Show” Policy To ensure smooth operation, strict waiting time rules apply based on the type of service:
Arrivals (Pickup FROM Airport): The driver will wait for a maximum of 60 minutes after your flight has actually landed. We monitor flight status; however, if you are delayed inside the airport (immigration/luggage issues) beyond 60 minutes, you must contact us immediately. Failure to contact us will result in a “No-Show” status, and the driver may leave.
Departures / City Pickups (Pickup FROM Hotel/Residence):
The driver will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes at the designated pickup location from the scheduled pickup time.
IMPORTANT: Due to heavy traffic and strict parking regulations in major Vietnamese cities, drivers cannot park or idle on the street. You must be waiting in the hotel lobby or the exact designated meeting point at the scheduled pickup time. Do not wait inside your room or outside on the street where the driver cannot stop.
If you are not present at the lobby/meeting point within 15 minutes, the driver is forced to leave, and the booking will be marked as a “No-Show.”
No-Show Consequence: If you fail to meet the driver within the allocated time without notifying us, the booking is considered a “No-Show.” No refunds will be issued for No-Shows.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy We understand plans change. Our strict cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund (minus any transaction fees charged by the payment processor, if applicable).
Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund. The full amount is charged to compensate the driver who has reserved the slot for you.
Changes: Any changes to the booking (time/date) made less than 24 hours prior to service are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.
7. Limitation of Liability (The “Shield”) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
Third-Party Actions: We are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any third-party Suppliers, or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting there from.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: heavy traffic, road accidents, weather conditions, strikes, natural disasters, or flight delays/cancellations.
Indirect Damages: In no event shall vietnamtaxis.online be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to, display of, or use of this Site.
Cap on Liability: Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking.
8. User Conduct You agree to treat the driver and the vehicle with respect. You are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by you or your party during the trip. The Supplier reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger who is intoxicated, abusive, or poses a threat to the safety of the driver or vehicle.
9. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
